A sunken step can be a challenge to maneuver. RaiseRite can correct your step, raising it to the standard step height required by code.

Precast steps cannot be raised by concrete raising.  They are hollow and will shatter if drilled into.  Precast steps are commonly set on a slab.  This slab if settled can be raised.  The first step to this repair is to contract a company to remove the steps from the slab.  Locally Valley Unit Step has the equipment to remove your steps from the slab.  After RaiseRite has raised the sunken slab the steps can be replaced.

Occasionally a slab will settled away from the home causing a gap between the concrete and the home.  Because debris settles in this area is it is rare that raising the concrete back to the original height will close this gap.
