What is slab curl?

Slab curl or rocking slabs is a phenomenon that occurs when the top of newly poured concrete cures faster than the bottom.  This creates a small void at the joint that is very noticeable when heavy equipment passes over the slab causing the slab to rock.  Polyurethane material can be injected that follows along the void in the joint prohibiting the slab from rocking.
